How to get in touch with our team
For over 20 years we have delivered projects and services across the most disadvantaged areas of the South West with partners from the private, public and not-for-profit sectors that have supported ‘People, Places and Prosperity’.
What underpins all of our activities is our drive to support sustainable communities. We understand that means economic, environmental and social sustainability.
Groundwork’s approach to working with private sector companies is based on achieving outcomes linked directly to the organisation’s values and strategy, and responding to the identified needs of local communities.
Groundwork has a strong track record in working with the corporate partners including Barclays, Marks & Spencer, Bond Pearce and Cadburys.
As well as offering the opportunity to get involved in a broad range of existing projects, we are experienced in running a wide variety of activities for businesses and staff teams, including:
All activities are planned and managed by Groundwork staff and include liaison with our client. All risk assessments are carried out by Groundwork and all staff are CRB checked.
For example, Groundwork could provide a one day staff volunteering activity for a team of 10 staff. The focus might be on a short-term intervention in a specified local area, with a significant, visual impact to transform a public space.
Our services would include;
“Groundwork’s experience of providing tailored solutions to local community need has demonstrated that a long-term commitment to supporting specific neighbourhoods or campaigns can generate significant reputational benefits”, Jane Hickie, Operations Director
How much will it cost?
Costs vary according to the tailor-made package for your business. We will discuss your requirements beforehand and agree a package that meets your needs and your budget.
Costs include planning and set-up costs, risk assessment and insurance, tools, safety equipment and supervision.
To give you a guide, for £500 we could provide 10 staff with a day of practical environmental conservation activities, which would include an experienced supervisor.
