Funded through Big Lottery’s Access to Nature Programme, Stepping Stones to Nature is an exciting project to get more Plymouth residents enjoying our parks and natural spaces in and around the city.
Since the project started in 2009, Groundwork’s volunteers and employment teams have helped to deliver practical improvements to Ham Woods, Woodland Woods and Southway Valley Local Nature Reserves. Better paths and clearer signs are helping more people to access and enjoy their local green spaces.
Stepping Stones to Nature are organising a range of different activities and events in parks and green spaces across the city, from den building to bat walks. For more information, visit www.plymouth.gov.uk/steppingstones
